Mar Azul is a luxury beach front complex which can be your very own paradise Oasis.. My apartment is situated on the ground floor and so very near to all amenities. You can enjoy the infinity swimming pool set in an ‘ Asian Water Garden ' whilst watching the deep blue Mediterranean . With a fully staffed all year round reception, twenty four hour security, gym and indoor swimming pool you will feel like you are in a 5 star hotel but with a spacious fully equipped 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment of the highest quality that almost no hotel can match. The gate at the rear gives you access to the beach where you can stroll along to the Kempinski Hotel and its water sports or further on to the new Laguna Village' full of designer shops and the amazing Puro beach a privately developed beach area for lovers of total indulgence. Whether you want to go and have a sun bathe there or are just visiting for a drink and maybe lunch it is only a short stroll away from your apartment.

LOUNGE AND DINING ROOM

When you enter the apartment through the heavy studded oak front door into the square hallway, hang your coat on the wrought iron black coat stand which is to your right, the entrance to the integral granite toped kitchen is to your left. Walk straight ahead on the cream marble floors surrounded by the cool white washed walls to the modern, stylish, comfortable large lounge and dining room with black brown furniture all surfaces covered in tampered glass. To your left is a dining room table with six matching chairs, We provide stylish place settings for 12 people, enough to let the dishwasher get full or invite guests to join you! to your left a book case full of books, games and a DVD collection for you to use during your stay. A large floor mirror opposite the entrance to the bedrooms and bathrooms followed but a large comfortable sofa bed with puff and two setter arm chair.

Mood lighting, micro climate air conditioning /heating system plus under floor heating together with mood lighting is why this is five a star apartment. The lounge has sliding doors with mosquito nets to the terraces. The windows are dressed with white muslin nets and white linen curtains.

TELEVISION SKY DVD CD RADIO AND I POD / MP3 SPEAKER

Opposite the sofa we have flat screen thirty two inch television, connected to SKY and a DVD CD and MP3 player (so bring your ipods! and connectors!) with all the freeview channels so you can pick up all the news sports and BBC and ITV channels .

MAIN BEDROOM

The king-size bed is set into a wooden bed frame and has been provided with a top quality mattress and mattress topper for extra comfort. Double fitted wardrobes that light up when the doors are opened, with plenty of hanging and draw space for all your holiday clothes, hangers are also provided. The room is furnished with bedside tables and bedside lights, a double dressing table, stools, mirrors and laundry basket.

Fresh white cotton bed linen provided on each bed has a bottom and top sheet plus a summer 4.5 tog or winter 9 tog duvet also with white cotton duvet covers. Sliding glass doors with mosquito nets inserted leading onto your terrace are dressed with white muslin nets and white linen curtains. Mood lighting micro climate air / heat conditioning and under floor heating will let you get the bedroom to your perfect temperature for a perfect nights sleep.

SECOND TWIN BEDROOM

Twin size beds with wooden bed frame has been provided with a top quality mattress and mattress topper for extra comfort. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom, fully marbled walls and floor tiles with under floor heating, Heated non-steam mirrors, his and her sinks set in a marbled table top with a vanity unit underneath with plenty of cupboard space for all your toiletries. Next to the sinks is a hydro-massage walk in shower with frosted sliding glass doors and next to the shower is an extra large Jacuzzi showering bath.The wc and bidet are also behind frosted sliding glass doors opposite the walk in shower. Finally the bathroom is all beautifully finished with top of the range stainless steel accessories. We provide soap dish, toothbrush holder and liquid soap holder. A bath sheet and hand towel per person. Bath mat is also provided in each bathroom.

SECOND BATHROOM TO SECOND BEDROOM

The second bedroom has a bathroom next door also fully marbled walls and floor with under floor heating. Mirror, single sink set in a marbled table top with vanity unit underneath with plenty of cupboard space for all your toiletries. Bath with shower and shower curtain. The wc and bidet are behind frosted sliding glass doors opposite the bath. This is all beautifully finished with top of the range stainless steel accessories. We provide soap dish, toothbrush holder and liquid soap holder. A bath sheet and hand towel per person. Bath mat is also provided in each bathroom.

KITCHEN

The integral kitchen has granite worktops and marble floor with Siemens washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, electric hob and extractor. Kettle, toaster, coffee percolator and a hand blender is also provided. A breakfast table and four stools are also in the kitchen. The apartment manuals and the machine manuals are placed on the open shelves next to the fridge freezer. Twelve place settings of crockery cutlery glasses and mugs are provided enough to let the dishwasher get full, Saucepans frying pans oven dishes and kitchen utensils and a draw full of plastic plates bowls beakers and cutlery for use around the swimming pool area and for children. Because there is an integral washing machine and tumble dryer in the kitchen the apartment does not have a utility room. In the hot water tank cupboard you will find ironing board and steam iron. Washing horse and pegs are also provided for use on the terrace.

PATIO LEADING FROM MAIN BEDROOM

The terrace leading out from the main bedroom has a comfortable outside two seat sofa with two matching arm chairs and a large coffee table. Please bring cushions in at night.

PATIO LEADING FROM LOUNGE

The terrace leading from the lounge has a modern smoked glass table and six matching chairs for dining outside.

AZUL BEACH FRONT FIVE STAR COMPLEX WITH IT’S’ INFINITY SWIMMING POOL’ SET IN AN ‘ASIAN WATER GARDEN’

It's hard to describe how amazing the outside area of this complex is.
I am going to start from the main entrance and work from Reception to the Beach. Enter the reception area through the glass rotating doors and you will find a haven of cream, gold and pale turquoise tranquility with an indoor water fountain. To your right there is a reception desk with a receptionist and security guard who will be holding your apartment keys.

Just past this area is a stunningly smart lounge area furnished in velvet, silk and deep mahogany which can be for personal use or as a business meeting area, there is a communal computer room adjoining but this might need to be booked in advance. Downstairs is the gym and small indoor heated swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

We now return back to the lounge and step out on the terrace. From here you will have a picture perfect view of the terracotta complex with it’s stunningly designed Asian water gardens and infinity swimming pool. On a clear day you can see Morocco and the Rock of Gibraltar across the simmering Mediterranean sea. You then walk down some steps and walk though the gardens and water features with stone benches to rest on and stone Asian artwork is dotted all around you.

The infinity pool winds around the garden with secluded sunbathing areas and water jacuzzis. A bridge goes over the swimming pool and will take you from one side to the other side of the complex, there are also two sun huts with comfortable seating to relax and play board games in and the back gates that take you to the beach. If you go through the gates to the beach you can stroll along the sand to the Kempinski Hotel, Laguna Village and Puro beach. Stroll the other way and you’re a five minute walk to Alcazaba beach which also has a beach restaurant in the more traditional Spanish style open to non residence as well. It's really hard to express in words how amazing it is to swim in this infinity pool until you have actually done so yourself !!!
